Was thinking of getting a dobe pup but I’m away at work 8 hours a day, As long as I gave him lots of attention and long walks when I got home would he develop OK with no behavioral problems or would this be cruel on my part ?

uh are you stupid not just because you train them they would protect you they protect you with out training our Dberman is a house dog AKC from Familydobes they are the best of the best Doberman breeders i never trained my dog only the essentials well he protects us with his life he barks at whoever people we don’t like, talk or coexist. he wags his tail with friendly people like friends neighbors and or just people that we talk. so please do some reserch!

Hmmvids Your gay as f*ck. There is a very slim chance of Dane taking down a Dobe, your average Dane is slow both mentally and physically and they are the biggest babies to ever walk gods green earth. I work in a animal shelter so i see plenty of this. Why do you think you need to get on a vid of a breed that is obvisouly for people who like them and try and start stuff? or intruders, some “family” dogs have been wounded(stabbed or shot) and have still gone after the intruder, my neighbors bullmastiff was shot twice when my neighbor was getting mugged and the dog tried to protect her, and she still went after the mugger, they arent bred for guarding anymore, and hers definitely wasnt

oh believe me, theres a dane out there that has a drive to fight, and yes the tzu was my great aunts, it had the drive to fight, it wouldnt give up when she tried to attack a lab…..she kept going at it and kept going and ripped the fur off of his forearm
but any breed can have a drive to fight, goldens have fought off intruders, same with danes, they will protect their pack, pretty much every breed is not bred for action these days yet there are stories off them fighting off animals…

Yes it’s true. All breeds that have short-coats with no undercoat get cold easily. Labs and beagles don’t get as cold, because they have double coats. I’ve heard of dobies freezing to death while their beagle kennelmates survive.

Yeah, I seen that one. I’m a subscriber of his! But you know, I’ve done a lot of reading on Dobermans, and they always say that Dobes can’t handle the cold that well. It doesn’t get cold here, so me and my dobe never really know.
